Welcome at the Yangon International Airport and transfer to hotel. After breakfast at hotel drive to Bago, located 80 km northeast of Yangon which was an ancient Mon’s capital. On the way, visit Htaukkyant cemetery where 27000 allied soldiers who had perished during the World War II were buried. Upon arrival to Bago, visit Shwethalyaung – another colossal and most life- like reclining Buddha in Myanmar built during 9th Century, Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda and HintagonPagao. After lunch visitKanbawzathadiPalace,the palace site of King Bayintnaung who was the founder of 2nd Myanmar Empire and Kyaik Pun Pagoda, four gigantic Buddha Images. Drive back to Yangon.Overnight in Yangon.
After breakfast at hotel, visits proceed to Thanlyin which is 45 minutes road trip from Yangon. Thanlyin (Syriam) once the centre of foreign trade for lower Myanmar. In 16thcenturyThanlyin was a trading port for Portuguese, Dutch, French and British merchants. Stop at Kyauktan Pagoda, set on a tiny island in the middle stream of Yangon River. Then visit to Kyaikhauk Pagoda and return to Yangon. On the way to Yangon, visit to National Landmark Village and overnight at Yangon. Drive back to Yangon. Stay overnight at hotel in Yangon.
