Upon arrival to YANGON airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel.Your journey begins with Botataung Jetty to see the morning busy Yangon River then to Botataung Pagoda which is situated on the riverside.Continue the tour to embark on a Yangon city tour which takes you to Sule Pagoda – the heart of the city surrounded by several old but significant colonial-style buildings which showed the extensive European influence on Myanmar history and culture.Proceed to the magnificent reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi. Complete your day in Myanmar with an extended visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda. Overnight stay at Hotel in Yangon.
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport for domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival at Heho airport, proceed by road to Kalaw, is a small hill station town within a day’s drive from Inle. It has English cottages that remain in good repair, some converted into cosy guest houses. The cool climate of the hill station is perfect for flowers and in spring and summer the roads are lined with thickly flowering crocus. Free & easy in this evening.Overnight in Kalaw.
Trekking starts from hotel. Walk slowly up hill along the pine forest for two and half hours, then arrive to Danu village called Lutpyin. Proceed half and hour to Shapin, another Danu village. Along the trail, there are fruit trees such as avocado, papaya, banana and vegetable farm. They have also animals (water buffaloes and cows) for working in the fields. Take a
rest and lunch in Shapin village. After lunch continue the trip along the ridge for two hours to Linpan, a Pa – O village. In the
Pa – O area, they grow rice, ginger, potatoes, sesame, chili and banana. The trail goes up and down through beautiful scenery. Another Pa – O village named Kyauksu could be seen from Linpan. It takes for one hour to get there. Dinner and overnight in Kyauksu village.
After breakfast, walk down hill for one hour, then the landscape is getting flatter. Tea break for half an hour and continue the trip for two hours for lunch at Yekhaungto monastery, an old wooden one. After lunch trek up and down for two hours crossing a nice bamboo bridge on the way to Pattu, a Taungyo village. The village is surrounded by bamboo forest and most of the men in this village know how to make baskets not only for using and also for selling in the market. There is another interesting wooden monastery in Pattu, situated in the mid of the village. Dinner and overnight in Pattuafter visiting and seeing the village.
Less up hill and more down hill on the last day. After breakfast walk up hill about one and half hours to Nanyoke village. And then going down for three hours to Tonele, an Inntha village in the western shore of Inle Lake. The path is sandy and rocky. Lunch in a bamboo hut in the bamboo forest at Tonele and afterward walk to jetty to take the boat to transfer to hotel. Overnight in Inle Lake.
After breakfast at hotel, excursion by boat on Inle Lake will include sights of the famous leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing, village life and magnificent scenery. You will visit the PhaungdawOo Pagoda; one of the main holy shrines in Myanmar and dating back to the 18th century, the Nag PheKyaung Monastery;famous for its jumping cats trained by monks andsilk & lotus weaving workshops in the weaving village of Inpawkhon and continue to visit Burmese Cats house (Myanmar Heritage house) in Inpawkhone village. After lunch break, visit Nam Pan Village, locates just before to Silk village; a cheroot factory, where the typical Burmese cigars are made by hand, and the workshops of the boat carpenters are the interesting sites in that village. And proceed to SekhaungVillagewhere can see the black smiths before transfer to your hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel on Inle Lake.
After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to airport for a domestic flight to YANGON. Upon arrival at Yangon airport, visit to “Kaba Aye Pagoda” which means “World Peace Pagoda” and “Kyauktawgyi Pagoda” or also known as “LawkaChantharArbayarLaba Muni Buddha Image”. After a photo stop at the Karaweik Hall, a barge on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake, stroll through the Bogyoke (Scotts) Market (closed on Monday on public holidays) with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Overnight in Yangon.
After breakfast,at leisure depending on schedule of your international flight from Yangon.
